Sketched by Hand. Formed by light.

From initial pencil strokes to custom integradted light sculptures.

The Vision: Rethinking Illumination

Traditional lamps rely on mass-produced plastic molds and disposable bulbs. We build integrated, sustainable art pieces designed to elevate your space.

Most lighting brands sell simple outer shells that force you to screw in generic, retrofitted lightbulbs. At Handy Rabbit, we took a fundamentally different route.

We treat light as a core architectural element. By pairing additive 3D manufacturing with custom internal LED circuitry, our lamps are designed as single, seamless instruments of light - delivering clean geometric visual signatures that standard factory tooling simply cannot replicate.

Our Craftsmanship Journey

Every product begins on paper with a pencil to explore bold geometric signatures and sculptural forms.

  • Iterative Sketching: We draw dozens of line-art concepts, meticulously balancing proportions and visual presence long before touching a digital screen.

  • 3D CAD Translation: The chosen drawing is translated into 3D software to map internal wire passes, structural housings, and diffuser channels with millimeter accuracy.

Concept, Hand Sketches & Digital Refinement

1

We eliminate ugly bulb sockets by engineering custom, high-density LED engines directly into the inner frame.

  • Direct Circuit Architecture: Electrical wiring passes, circuit board seats, and power inputs are designed directly into the digital blueprint of the lamp.

  • Optical Spread Simulation: We simulate diffusion angles virtually to calculate optimal light gaps, ensuring a warm, continuous glow free from harsh hotspots.

Custom Integrated Electronics & Optical R&D

We build hundreds of physical test units to rigorously refine both structural durability and ambient light warmth.

  • Multi-Variant Testing: We test dozens of physical combinations pairing LED color temperatures, driver circuits, and frame densities for ideal atmosphere.

  • Thermal & Stress Burn-In: Prototypes undergo multi-day continuous thermal burn-in tests and drop testing to guarantee long-term reliability and layer strength.

Approved blueprints enter final production in our studio, combining additive technology with meticulous hand craftsmanship.

  • Zero-Waste Additive Printing: High-grade printers build each plant-based PLA frame layer by layer with exact precision, generating virtually zero material scrap.

  • Artisan Hand Soldering: Every internal circuit board, power jack, and LED strip is hand-soldered, fitted with a PETG diffuser, and studio quality-checked.

Conscious Materials & Built-In Engineering

We selected high-performance materials that prioritize durability, light quality, and environmental responsibility:

Plant-Based PLA Frame

The structural body of every lamp is built using PLA (Polylactic Acid): a bio-based, renewable thermoplastic derived from plant starches like corn. It delivers a luxurious matte finish without relying on traditional fossil-fuel plastics.

Shatter-Resistant PETG Diffusers

To protect and evenly disperse light from our internal LEDs, we cover the light channels with high-impact PETG. It offers exceptional clarity, impact resistance, and thermal stability, shielding the light engine for years.

Zero-Waste Manufacturing

Unlike traditional factories that generate massive plastic scrap during mold setups, 3D printing deposits material layer-by-layer strictly where needed, resulting in almost zero material waste.
